IPv4 IP country address block aggregation

Starting from August 15th, 2014 you can download our aggregated country IPv4 address blocks. By aggregating multiple smaller blocks into larger IP prefixes you can increase your firewall, packet filter or router performance. Why? You will have less firewall rules – each incoming or outgoing IP packet will be inspected faster, probably will use less memory, use less network buffers and CPU (or ASIC?) load will decrease.

IP address block aggregation really works for zone files that have IP address blocks allocated without gaps. For example, USA total IP block allocations are around 46000 and we can aggregate those blocks down to about 15400 IP prefixes), Australia (~6500 vs ~4300 aggregated), Canada (~6900 vs ~3600 aggregated), China, France, Germany and many other countries….

I hope you will enjoy aggregated IPv4 block downloads from IPDeny.com. Don’t hesitate to give us some thumbs up 😉

It would be even faster if we could combine countries.

I am assuming that the IP addresses listed are All addresses for a country, and not just hackers IP addresses.
